I mounted mine in the sides behind the seats. The open area just below the door hinge area.

    Hi Ray:
I bought Ruth's console and I'm going to install at the front each side facing out. I solved my intake issue using Spectre parts as listed by FFR with a 5" to 4" silicone boot to go on to the oval throttle body. It works and the side covers go on easily. There pictures at my listing.

The doors are more than accommodating for 6" coax and I was able to get an 8" Bazooka sub under the dash. It sounded amazing. The bass needs to be in the cabin or you'll never hear it. I had an Alpine 400W amp with a nice old EQ, and it took almost all of it to be able to hear Johnny Cash on the way to the show while doing 70 on the highway with the top on and no windows.

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. I have power windows which precludes the door panels. I think I will try the side panels behind the seats. I am going to install a Parrot blue tooth receiver and simple two or four channel amp. I realize I need power and good speakers to even begin to hear music over the roar.

I have small speakers in the very front and bottom of the doors and two in the waterfall centered side-by-side between the seats. With the Coyote at anything over 2500 rpm you really need the volume set to 11.
