    Name That Caption Contest

I like being the guy behind the camera because I get to take photos like this one of Dave and the guys from SKJ. In this case, I got permission to do a "Name That Caption" contest. The winner will get about $50 worth of Factory Five swag including a t-shirt, hat, travel mug, key chain, and a free kit (kidding about the kit).

The contest will run through the weekend with the winner being announced on Monday.

Reminder: Keep it clean, it's a family show.

So I'm trying to hand my drivers license to the police officer and he took the keys to the coupe. That was a week ago and I haven't seen him since. I now own an almost new crown vicky and shotgun though.

    Dave tells another story

I'm not getting gray, I'm adding chrome....

“Under-steer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and over-steer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.”
-- Jacques Schnauzee "World Famous Racecar Driver"

"If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough horsepower."--Mark Donohue

When I blew by the Prius, the Prius owner was yelling something, but I couldn't hear him over my Type 65 Coupe's awesome exhaust note.

Let off the gas a little.

So then I am entering that decreasing radius turn and just then all I see is grass and dirt and think, "There is no way this could be happening to me, I am Dave Smith from Factory Five!".

How often do you think of welds.

So as I am cutting it hard and the car is starting to roll, suddenly my mind went to the welding tech we have had working on those roll bars - I sure hope we got our money's worth out of that guy !!
