Complete LS-7 Engine (Including Exhaust Manifolds, A/C Compressor, Alternator, Dry Sump Tank with Lines) The electronic accelerator pedal from the LS-7 Z06 Corvette is required as well.

Wiring Harness and Computer- Can be obtained from Factory Five or GM Performance.

Aftermarket Water Pump and Thermostat Neck for a 97-99 Corvette LS-1 (obtain from NAPA, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, etc.) Do not purchase from GM directly as you will get the new style pump. Refer to pictures below. You値l need the thermostat neck on the left and the water pump with the rounded pulley (bottom water pump of the 2 pictures).

Modify the oil pressure sensor boss near lifter valley. You値l need to machine down the boss and re-tap the hole for the oil pressure sender that is supplied with the kit. This is done so that the intake manifold can turned around without a problem.

The lower part of the GTM exhaust needs to be modified to bolt up to the LS-7 manifolds. You can either cut and weld the extra pipe and flange on to the exhaust given with the kit, or you can make an exhaust adaptor with an LS-1 flange on one side, and an LS-7 flange on the other. Either pipe will need an O2 sensor bung welded into the adaptor. See pictures below. On the FFR LS-7 car, we made an adaptor.

You will need to mount the factory dry sump can and run the lines to the engine. There is no specific place to mount the can, it痴 your preference. Custom lines and adaptors may be required, depending on location of tank.

Factory LS-1 motor mounts will be required instead of the LS-7 mounts. Just unbolt the LS-7 mounts, and bolt up the LS-1 mounts.

You will need fuel tanks or at least an upgraded pump from a Z06 Corvette at a minimum in order to supply the LS-7 with adequate fuel.

A higher strength transaxle, such as the new Mendeola unit to be offered through FFR, is highly recommended for use with the LS-7.

GTM Power Steering Setups

The pump is an electric power steering pump from a 1985-1991 Subaru XT. Some places try to sell you the mechanical pump, which is of no use to the GTM. You can not purchase these new, they are only used, I believe. The rack is from a 1987-1993 Mustang. From there, you値l need to use a relay to provide power to the pump when the car is running. Then, you値l need a hydraulic shop to make lines from the pump to the rack. The return is low pressure so a hose and hose clamps will suffice.
