    My engine started!!

I can officially confirm how damned exciting it is when the engine runs for the first time! Only one fuel leak because I forgot to tighten a fitting on the filter, but that was it. I am so pleased with myself!! I can now crack on and finish the rest of the car. Thanks to everyone here for helping me get to this stage. Hope the video works...

Way to go! I think you have a mixed feeling of happiness that it's running and relief that it's running. I wasn't expecting mine to start at first so when it started without any cranking noise (instantaneous), it scared the crap out of me! EFIs do that sometimes.

Great moment for you. There will be more.

    Congratulations,

    WEK.

Thanks!! I am pleased with how it sounds. The SDS EFi has a basic setting to get it running and will need setting up properly later on.
You're right Skull - I was hugely relieved it runs!

Nice to see the fire extinguisher close by. Also nice you didn't need to use it!

Congrats!! It sounds excellent. I can't wait until I receive my motor, and get it installed, and running. You won't be able to get the grin off my face. Now, go get that beast finished!

    Thanks Jazz and All.

My progress is a really good advert for how someone with limited knowledge can get this far. All of the problems I encountered were solved by people on this Forum. Remember no question is a dumb question!
