Hey everyone I finally got the updated arm and got it test fitted this weekend. He are the pics I took of it together. I also added the pics of what he changed on the new arm to allow the upper cable to miss the switch on the trans. The new upper cable extension rod wasn't available yet so I took pics of the shorter setup and some pics with a rod I made with a spare heim I had. The rods and heims you will receive will be the silver rod and red heim not the red tube and silver heim I used to finish test fitting. I have the trans shifter rod drilled to the new closer hole and extra cut off. Easy to move hole with his arm as a guide. It is real easy to install and has very smooth action. Anything you extra you need to know please let me know.

Cost is $250. I'll start taking deposits later this week. Was waiting for the test fit of the updated part before placing the order. I don't want to be the owner of $1000 worth of scrap arms.

I already have my K-tuned shifter installed and working. The bell crank is cool enough, though, I'd probably get one if you made a compatible version. Is that enough of a challenge?

    Too many challenges!!!

It's on my list. My first few attempts at an easy conversion weren't any good so it'll take more effort. There's a big statewide Subaru meet in 2 months that I'm trying to get my own car driveable for first.

Aaaaaaaand.....it's closed. Order is going in today. If you're not on the GB list but you can show where you sent an email/pm/text/FB message and I forgot your name just let me know. Otherwise, only those on the list get GB pricing. I wasn't that strict about that in the past but the margin on these parts is lower.

Please send 50% deposits ($125) to zerodbmotorsports at gmail dot com

    Thanks!

Almost forgot. As you send payment, include your forum name and address. If you haven't already received a free shirt this year let me know what size (I only have 1 large left, need to order more....any specific color preferences and I can order some in that color). Please also if you have not let me know stainless or aluminum rod ends.

    Thanks!

Excellent! Any idea on a rough timeline (I promise I won't hold you to it, just wondering if we are talking 2 weeks or more like a month+)?

Order confirmation says 3/25 is the target completion date. Two weeks from Friday. I'll pick them up that day, press in the bearings and then assemble a lot of them that night for shipping.

Great thanks Mechie, all paid via international details you provided. I would love a tee in medium :-)

    Let me know...

Is stainless steel an option? What ever happened with the vote?

Stainless or aluminum. There's enough people wanting both that I can get both in volume discounts.

Same. The difference on my end (if I recall correctly) was a couple of dollars. It's hard enough tracking forum names with real names with paypal emails with shirt sizes (and colors) and stainless aluminum without adding different prices to the mix. Hahaha.

So....I only have 1 large shirt left so I ordered more. Dark Heather (off black), Blue, Irish Green, and I may or may not have ordered some pink ones. Hahaha! (technically it's heliconia, looks a bit like cherry blossom red).

Hi Craig, Do you know when the bell crank shifters will be ready to ship? I sent $250 by PayPal 3/2/16 , I thought you had at least 20 buyers but maybe not. I would also like to order the steering rack extenders. Could you let me know the additional cost of the shifter and the cost of the extenders. Thanks for the awesome parts! NorCal Ray

The original eta from the shop was this past Friday but they didn't make it. Just waiting there call. I'll probably need a week to assemble and box things up too.

Do you have the larger tie rods? I think its the 05+ rack that uses an m16 thread. My extenders are all m16.

    24.8% difference.

Hard for me to say. I ditched my FFR plastic shifter and cables a long time ago and I've had a few different setups in between.

Shop called and their parts are ready. I still need to finish the spacers and couplings and press in bearings. New shirts are done too (but not in my possession yet). Limited quanities of Dark Pink, Irish Green, and more of the sapphire blue and some new dark heather.

Ha-ha. Yeah, hard to quantify a response to that question. I have factory Fives aluminum shifter. Definitely better than the plastic unit. I almost want to say it is more positive feeling than the reverse cable aluminum option.

Can't wait to see how it is with your linkage.
