    Hello from NZ

    Hi there,

I am quite keen on attempting a 33 build and obviously have some questions. Not sure if this is the right place but here goes anyway.

Is there any information or build threads on making a 33 rhd?
Also I'm 6 foot 3 and am curious if I would be comfortable in the 33 with the roof and rollbar installed I. E. Not driving with head touching roof or sideways.
Any ideas on international shipping providers?

Many many questions but they are my big ones at this point.

    Cheers luke

I remember seeing an article in a NZ magazine about a FFR 33 Hot Rod in Invercargill. Some one else reading this may remember more details. It had a metallic orange paint job and was putting out an insane 700 HP ( as I recall). It was RHD and used a modified Commodore steering rack.

I'd send flamshackle a message on this forum if he doesn't see this thread. He is in NZ (Christchurch I think) and is building an 818. He seems to be pretty well connected to the FFR community in NZ. I think there are two 818's in Auckland as well, and a MK3 cobra in Auckland.

If anyone will know who has a 33 in NZ, I'm sure Flamshackle will be your best bet.

Check out the July 2012 "Hot Rod New Zealand" magazine. The car I mentioned above is on the cover and you can read the article on their website.
