    Big block and trans

I have MKIV 7622. I am using a 460 with a TKO 600. I am using a QuickTime bell housing. In the manual it is suggested to use a Lakewood 15220 bell housing and McLeod 8607. Is the spacer also used with the QuickTime? I have put all together and placed in car but am short of being able to place the trans bolts in the trans support. The spacer suggested is about 3/4 inch which would push the tranny back and should reach the mount. But I fear that there won't be enough input shaft engaging the pilot bearing or clutch splines. Has anyone had a similar problem and solution? Thanks Nick C

I talked with Lakewood today and they indicate no spacer for the Quicktime it already has the spacer difference in its design. So I will se if I have a discrepancy in the front motor mounts or trans frame. I only need about a half inch. Thanks
