Question - Any interest in Bolt in Pre engineered Electric Drive Lines for FFR Kits

I have been approached by a company that would like to provide pre-engineered all electric drive lines for the Factory Five Cars.

These packages would be Canadian supplied so no border issues for Canadian citizens and I specified that they would need to be engineered to the point that they are bolt in and plug in with no real in depth electrical knowledge required.

My question to one and all is - hypothetically speaking - if such a driveline were available would you be interested in it?

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Regards

I would post this in one of the main forums to make sure it gets some views, but think it could be a cool idea for sure depending on costs and mileage per charge. Not sure for me that an electric roadster would fit the bill, but the 818.... that could be sweet.

Very interesting - these cars should lend themselves to electrification, as the chassis is so open. Can't see a huge volume, but it's something I've thought about over the long term.

Would it be hybrid with small "charging" engine like a Volt, or pure electric but plug in only, like a Leaf?
