I have inner struggle with this beautiful 818, and a 2005 Lotus Elise http://www.ksl.com/auto/listing/3026761. I'm pretty sure the 818 would go around the track faster, but... Sigh. I like the color of the 818 way better. But I can get a conventional car loan for the Lotus... 1st world problems. If the link disappears the link was to a Orange 2005 Lotus Elise for about $25k.

    Yes, that's a sweet-looking Lotus.
I'm a little hesitant about the rebuilt/reconstructed title, - but hey, all the Factory Five cars are rebuilt/ reconstructed right :-)
Sounds like you'd enjoy either car. Let me know if there's anything I can tell you about the car to sway your opinion.

Good luck, you may want to post a link to the build thread in your listing so people can see all of the attention and detail that went into the build. Also the solid reputation of the builder I think will go a long way.

I am trying really hard to convince my friend to buy this car. The only thing that he is hung up on is the fact that he would have to transport it (which is really no big deal). Beautiful car! If I didn't already have a Cobra, I'd pick this one up.
