    8.8 diff fluid.

Went to pick up the recommended 80W 90 diff fluid tonight. Sticker on the diff cover says synthetic only, problem the only weight that had was 75W 90 in synthetic, guessing this isn't an issue? Also, they didn't have a friction reducer, but a synthetic additive to cut down chatter, is this the same as the friction reducer? Thanks in advance for the comments

While the numbers are only 5 different from one another, I have always thought that 75-90 was a trans oil. Anyone have details on the difference? Over the 6-7 yrs I ran a Ford TracLoc, I always used 80W90 Mobil1 w/ no additive. Worked great.

I use Mobil 1 75W-90 LS (limited slip) Synthetic. No problems, noise, or chatter so far.
