    Inertia Switch Connector Wiring

The connector to my inertia switch came with the wires in the wrong places. This image shows the wires in the correct place. Mine came from the factory with one of the wires in the center slot.IntertiaSwitchWiring.jpg

The center is normally open and will be closed when the switch is activated. However, the wiring on mine had the BLK-INT-SENSOR wire connected to the center and the BLK-INT-GRND connected as shown in the wiring diagram. There never was a connection between the two wires. If you have the BLK-INT-GRND connected to the center, it will only allow the fuel pump to work when the sensor is tripped. Move the center wire to the outside. It requires a special tool to release the connector. I just made one out of some thin brass sheet I had.
