Modifying upper control arms for additional caster and camber

Anyone have pics who has done this so I can see, generally, how much I need to shorten the front and back side of the upper arm? How much caster did you end up with?

    Thanks in advance.

There is enough variation in each install that you just need to do it. I got 4 degrees of caster and did it but cutting only a couple extra threads on the right side, the left got there w/o add'l cutting. I do have aluminum STI lowers tho and they give you a bit more than std lower arms IIRC

Thanks Dan. I will give it a shot. Need to wait for my 3/4" tap and die to get here so I can clean the threads after cutting.

I have the 2006 aluminum WRX lower control arms. I did flip the lower hurricane bushing, which is supposed to add some caster, but not as much as adding a 10mm spacer between the bushing bracket and the control arm. It's just that even with flipping the bracket like I did, it puts a LOT of stress on the control arm bushings. Right now with around 3 or 3.5 degrees caster, the steering wheel almost stays put when I'm in a corner. Very little push back to center. I'm going to try to get 4.5 if possible.
