Murray Constant Tension Turbo Seal Clamps – With a convoluted heat-treated band that provides spring-like tensioning effects for thermal cycling hose applications.
Murray hose clamps are designed to compensate for the effects of heating and cooling, and the compression set of the hose. Murray's convoluted spring-action outer band is the solution.

Murray’s unique “DUAL BEAD SHIELD” concentrates band-sealing pressure, increasing performance up to 30% compared to standard smooth liners. Flanged edges protect soft hose compounds from abrasion and wear.
The unique Dual Bead Shield provides superior sealing pressure via its two raised ribs and flanged edges to eliminate damage to the hose when tightened.The unique inner liner also concentrates band-sealing pressure, increasing performance up to 30% compared to standard smooth liners. Murray Constant Tension Turbo Seal Clamps evenly distribute the clamping force completely around the piping makes them superior to t-bolt or regular worm clamps. These clamps are excellent for turbo boost applications.
Electropolishing improves weld strength, which leads to improved performance, improved corrosion resistance, and enhances appearance with a more even finish.

Tech Tips From Colonel Red Racing:
Silicone Hose Outer Diameter Sizing:
Use this chart to determine which Murray clamp to use on your silicone turbo hose connections. For example a 2 1/2" intercooler pipe uses a 2 1/2" silicone ID connector, but since the silicone outer diameter is larger you need a larger than 2 1/2" clamp. Silicone hoses are NOT all the same thickness so you can measure the outer circumference of yours and look it up on the chart to be sure you get the right size.

Intercooler Piping Tech Tips
The Constant Tension clamps are good for Intercooler piping and the CAI inlet on the turbo. The Dual Bead clamps work great on typical coolant hoses and other applications where the temps move slower and are more stable.
Be aware, if your intercooler pipes have oily residue in them and inside the silicon coupler you have to clean them really well, to make sure oil is gone. No clamp will hold an oily IC pipe under boost.
And after cleaning off the oil a quick spray of Aqua Net Extra Hold hairspray does an amazing job. Spray the outside of the IC or Intake piping with Aqua Net Extrra Hold, then slip the clean silicone hose coupler over it. You have a few minutes to adjust the pipes before the AquaNet sets up. Since we started using the constant tension clamps + Aqua Net Extra Hold we've never popped off a IC pipe in our races.

I attended the Pirelli World Challenge at PIR. Here's something I never thought I'd see, five Subaru Pro Road Race Cars at the same place and time! And then they won 1-2 in the TCA class. Nice work TechSport Racing!!

The Hyundai TCR class cars were pretty cool and very fast! They are way more developed than the TCA class cars like the above BRZs. Both classes run in the same race but the Hyundai cars lapped the first place TCA BRZ three times in one hour.
