    EZ30 Oil Galley Plug locations.

Does anybody know which plugs are oil galley plugs and are suitable for a temperature sensor?

The large plug in the second pic appears to be a coolant plug according to this thread on NASIOC pg 123 post 2805.

The water temp sensor location is just below it so I'm sure you're right. Wayne says the one next to the filter can be used but it may show a higher than average temp. I can reach it in the front engine but not the rear. I'll probably have to use the drain plug location. Do you or anyone else know if the galley plugs also work on the drain?

Since I have decided to put my oil temp sensor in the oil pan drain plug I have searched the internet for days to find what I thought would be a simple piece of information, to no avail. 2007 EZ30 oil pan drain plug thread size. I have received responses of 12mm 1.25, 12mm 1.50, 14mm and 12 mm. I think that might cover everything there is. I ask for that car and up come Chevy LS1 plugs. Does anybody know for sure?

I believe the oil drain plugs are M20x1.50. I also believe the is the same size as the oil galley plugs.

Use one of these for your sensor. https://www.rallysportdirect.com/par...il-galley-plug
