We will have to get together for sure. A good friend of mine (Marc Morin) has a MKII. His is yellow with black stripes. He belonged to the Espanola car club before, so you may know him. We will have to plan a little cruise or 2

Not sure what effects the rod ratio will have on it though. They are going to dyno it for you, right?
The motor ended up making about 722hp, and 687 ft. lbs. with my intake manifold, Q950 carb, and my air cleaner. It is a little lower than we had expected, but it's a very conservative dyno, and it's still a tonne of power to have in a Cobra I love the torque curve (or basically flat line!)

That is some serious power. My car has a little over 500 and it's pretty impressive. I can't even imagine 200 more HP!

Great looking car! IMO, something is choking your engine though, you should be making 75-100 more hp. Still plenty to put a big smile on your face.

The motor made about 745hp with a slighly larger single plane intake, and 1250 Dominator on it. I don't think it's too far off what it should be making. Keep in mind that it's a Hydraulic Roller, not a solid roller. Shafiroff advertises their low deck 598 at 775hp with a solid roller, and a slightly higher compression ratio (10.5:1)

Nice paint job. I like your variation on the traditional stripes.

Hey guys. The Blueprint Engines 598ci big block is in and running. I have not driven the car yet, as our weather has been terrible this spring, and the roads are still pretty sandy. Just thought I would post up a few pictures of the new monster.

I still have a few things to finish up. With the raised exhaust ports on these heads, it has left me with one of the header tubes too close to #8 cylinder spark plug. So, I have ordered some header tubing and I will redo that single tube. I also have installed a power steering rack in the car, and ran into a conflict with the pump mounted reservoir. I now have to modify the pump and run a remote reservoir setup. Not a big deal, just a bit more time to get it finished. Soon it will be tearing up the tires

Dido on the nasty spring weather. I drove my Coyote/MkIV from Espo to North Bay last Friday. I plan to keep it there. It was a top on drive, but even so.....SO much fun. Any predictions on how many sets of tires you'll go through this season with that monster under the hood?

Great job on the car and one of the nicer build threads on this forum.

I'll get some videos up for you guys shortly. A photographer friend of mine just bought a high quality drone. He wants to do some videos with the drone following the car down some twisty roads. Should be pretty cool!
