    Steering

According to the ff manuel you can use a powersteering rack without using powersteering pump by just letting it bleed through the hose outlet. If so does it steer decent? Also the donor car is a 94 mustang 5.0 . I am not using the electronic fuel injection or distributer will go with intake and carb. Any suggestions? I am not rich i just want a runner driver .. Thanks lee doucet

Welcome to the forum. Using the donor power steering rack in an unpowered mode is universally cited as a pretty bad idea. I highly recommend not doing it. Either power the rack the way it's designed to be used, or install an actual manual steering rack. Pretty common to replace the EFI with carb. Just don't overlook that carbs need to be tuned too. It will likely run out of the box, but not optimally.
