Finally covered the dash aluminum with a carbon fiber vehicle wrap and it looks great! Wasn't sure it was going to work. Now just need to get the eyebrows to the upholstery shop tomorrow!

LIFE'S JOURNEY is not to arrive at the grave safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Shi*, what a ride!"

Well Gents, What do you think?

Nice Work! Those raised sections look perfectly done.
One of the nicest dashes I've seen. Post a couple more when you get it mounted with the support tubes & wheel in place.
What color is the rest of the interior?
F5R #7446: MK4, 302, T5 midshift, 3.55 Posi IRS, 17" Halibrands
Delivered 4/4/11, First start 9/29/12, Licensed 4/24/13, off to PAINT 2/15/14!! Wahoo!
Thanks guys, as soon as I get a chance I will make mount it and take some more pictures. The rest of the interior is going to be red, sides of the cockpit will be covered with the red leather like material and seats. I am going with black carpet, but only on the flat part of the floor.

Wow, great work. Hard to do something really unique like that with these cars and still have it look like it belongs. I think you pulled it off. Well done.

Dang that looks great! I can only dream of my eventual dash looking half that good.
