    2017 818 Calendar Ordering Thread

    Hi all

My name is Taz, and over the past several years, I've done a calendar for the GTM owners featuring their own builds. Its become an annual tradition. I do it for essentially the cost of production and shipping, not for profit. (There's a story there, but its a long one and I won't bore you.)

Anyway, this year I have been given permission to do a calendar for each Factory Five model's ownership group. I'm curious if there is enough interest in the 818 community here. I'm attaching three images from previous GTM calendars so you can get an idea of what I'm doing....

Also, please feel free to ask your GTM bretheren on the forum whether or not they have been happy with previous calendars.

In order to start, the first thing I need is pics of your cars. 12 owners, 12 cars.

    Lets, get them in, boys!

    Requirements:
Minimum 3200 pixels wide, decent quality

    Requests:
Car photo - multiple photos from different angles.
    Engine bay photo
In the past on the GTM calendar, each month has featured an automotive quote. This can be your own "catch phrase" or saying, or a quote by someone famous. (Example: "Its not a throttle, its a detonator" - Jeremy Clarkson)

    Information:
    FFR chassis number
Engine type (and horsepower number if you like)
    Owner Name
    Owner location (city/state)
Does your car have a name?
anything else you want included (featured in magazine? special build features? unique stuff?)

Please send info and images via email to [email protected]

Ordering will be done on a different thread.

Looking forward to it, Lumpyguy! Don't forget the info!

    Need 11 more!

FYI, in the past, calendars have cost $25 shipped to the US (Europe adds a couple of bucks). I'll keep them at that price. This covers the cost of printing and postage. (As I said, I do this for reasons other than profit, which is good, since there is none! LOL)
Ideally they are finished, ordered and printed by the end of november, paid orders are shipped in the first week of december so they arrive by Christmas.

    Currently sitting on 3 submissions.

Not really enough to do a calendar, so I need 9 more guys who are proud of their ride to step up!

Hey Brian! I'll ask again, what are those rear side reflectors, or are they side markers?

Tnx Brian, I thought so, I had those in sight for a long time but went with Challenger's markers, wanted all the same in 4 corner but those CRVs look cleaner and are smaller. Good move since you don't need front markers.

Sitting on 6 818 submissions. Thank you.

That's enough, as I can do two months each if need be. But I'd love to get some more guys!

As an aside, the 65 Coupe is a go, with a similar response to the 818. Cobra calendar is already full with spares, and GTM has 3 open spaces.

If we get down to just one opening and can't find someone else, we could throw FFR's prototype car up for a page. That said, I'd rather it be community members!

    UPDATES....

Over the past 3 days I have managed to get all the invoices out!!!!!! (Finally!)

If you placed an order, you should have an invoice in your inbox. (Thank you, btw, to those who have already paid so quickly!)

If you do not have an invoice, then I do not have your order. If you have ordered, but I missed it, or somehow you don't have an invoice, shoot me an email at [email protected] so I can get you sorted out.
I've had a couple of people say they've had problems with Paypal. If you have problems, you can try the Paypal help line at 1-877-569-1116 toll free, or you can contact me about an alternate payment arrangement. (A couple of people have mailed money orders)

    ALSO>>>
    VERY IMPORTANT

Check your invoice to make sure it is correct!!!! My fat fingers are not perfect, and I'd rather catch mistakes early! Pay special attention to the type of calendar (Coupe vs Roadster vs GTM, etc....caught one mistake I made there!) and also to the shipping address. I want everyone to be happy with what they get, and when they get it, so just go over your invoice before paying it so I can fix any flubs.

Calendars go to the printer on Monday, and should be shipping by the end of the week.

It's not too late to add your name to the list! Though the later we get, the less likely they will be there in time for Christmas.

    Sample month:

Printer had a slight delay (!), but calendars should be shipping on Tuesday.

If you haven't paid your invoice yet, best hurry! Only paid orders will ship. There's still a couple of invoices sent that people haven't paid yet, so please check your inbox.

Also, the good news from this is that there's still time for a last-minute order, if you want one, but haven't sent your request to [email protected]yet.
