Looks like I will be building one too! I have a customer who has ordered one and I am working on Pricing for a 2015 coyote with an e-force supercharger!

Order looks just like yours Henry, but with AC/Heat.

Customer is currently in Saudi Arabia, but lives in Houston.

Erik and Henry, two great builds side by side. For a new guy to this type of building it is going to be a great education. I can't wait to see the threads from you both. I have started to look for a donor Mustang. Hope for a fall 2017 chance to build. Len

What is this? A competition to see who has the biggest Coupe order? I would suggest comparing cubic inches, but both of you are using the same amount...

    Carlos

I wouldn't play that game, Henry will build a beautiful car as will Erik. Erik will use to or three turbos and a couple superchargers, 4 shots of nitrous and a red bull and be done by Christmas . Unless he has to work. Then by New Years.....eve

Bastages I'd love to do a new Coupe! I'll just have to build vicariously through you guys for now. Ron, I think I might have talked to that guy a few months ago about doing a loaded up roadster.

Spent an hour in the garage today...

cut about 2 inches off the shifter so I wouldn't make the throw extremely long...reverse lockout still works

    Erik,

Have you wrung out the MT82 on another project? I wasn't paying attention to the gear splits, but, if it holds up I like the deeper first on single overdrive over the T56. Is that shifter going to be where you want it? I missed that getrag swap along the way. Curious to how those are working out on the coyote.
    I love that shifter!

So there are 2 versions of the MT82... the change happened in 15 due to some issues of version 1. The MT82 v2 seems to be holding up quite well on the 15 mustang at the high hp levels.

The shifter position as it sits is 1.5 inches aft of the T56. I should be able to move the shifter very easily by cutting and welding the linkage.

As far as height... I cut 2 inches off the shifter handle and then stuck the cyclic head on it... so when you place you hand "in" the grip, you are at the same height as you were before. The head of the grip is like 3.5 inches above where you grip it...so it only looks high... so far...

Wow! I guess those sticks don't have feedback synchros anymore? That's really cool Erik. Just don't bump the line lock when you punch the nitrous while double footing out of the corners...

in any event I have a couple hundred hours behind this stick... that switch doesn't get hit by accident and the detent is pretty strong...

Are you going to duplicate the Horn, Flash to Pass, and Turn signal functions on or near the steering wheel?

was not planning on it at this point. I was thinking about making the shifter assembly removable and all the connection, so can could swap out to a normal shifter, in which case I would need to duplicate it... So with shifter installed the signals would come from there....without the shifter installed the signals would come off the normal places.... but not both.

IMHO, The FCS stick is so you can keep your hand on the flight control without having to reach for a switch, maintaining control of an aircraft.
Switches on a steering wheel or close by on a stalk are so you can keep your hands on or very near the steering wheel to control the car. Plus those switches are more or less in your line of sight straight over the hood.

Reaching from the wheel to the shifter to hit the horn or turn signals is not a good idea. My $.02.

So, I wanted to run an in tank fuel pump, but that configuration with a fox tank is a bit tricky unless you want to spend a lot of money.... so a call to Mr Very Cool Parts... yielded , oversized fox style fuel pump holster with welded -6an in and out with anti aeration tube and Walbro 465 pump.... I am hoping that will make it run ok

Got "The Call" today.... Stewart will be here Wednesday morning bright and early!!! Already having to change the build plan due to the powder coaters being closed for the holiday... so looks like turbo fabrication will be first on the list, fuel, and all suspension until the first of the year.....

Since I'm sure you placed the order with direct contact I have a question. the things I have read so far say A/C-Heat is not compatible with the power steering option, but you list both? Are you doing custom brackets or have things changed?

Well Santa's helpers are out early.... Got the call that we pushed up one day....

Once again, great support from Stewart, very friendly and helpful. I was actually stuck in traffic so he was waiting on me!

Quickly unloaded 5:30pm ... well there is like 10 million boxes... so quick is relative.... did the inventory and laid out the boxes in what I think will be the order to attack them in....course got done with that... and heck... might as well open the box I was gonna do in the morning.....so Box 15 is done!

And it looks like we have some 818 design here with Both R and S mounts on the same frame.

Lower A-Arms all greased up and set loose in there until we get ride height set and then torque......

I will get the nose off in the morning and finish up the front suspension... the aluminum that I normally remove almost right away will remain for this build so I can set the engine and take a look at turbo placement.

So one thing I wanted to show that I noticed right away...and I am not sure how long this washer has been available ... but it "seems" to actually fit on the ball joint and will allow you torque everything up, I will report back if this is the case...The lower ball joint looks much better as well....way to go FFR, thx for that.

Didn't get any more done tonight had Hockey night so off to grab a few hours of sleep so I can hit it a bit tomorrow before family arrives....they have just been recruited

Do you know what kind of ball joint you have in the picture. IE brand or part number. I have a Gen II coupe, and your ball joint looks very different from mine. My ball joints came with a rubber boot (the blue part in your picture) that does not fit and is already cracked.
