Cut and buff on body buck ?

Trying to sand the body on the buck, but its flexing quite a bit, buffing may be even more of a problem, wonder if I should mount on the chassis ? What do you guys do ?

I did it on the buck. Cross braces the buck along with angle braces to stabilize it, and attached the center support from cowl to trunk very well with tape (and tape and socks to protect the new paint). Added a vertical support under each windshield slot to further brace it. That gave me enough support so the body didn't wiggle and flex while sanding and buffing.

On the buck. I've modified mine so that I can secure the sides at the rocker panels and tail at the rear valance to minimize movement.
