Ordered a Gen 3 Coupe today!!!

Well we have been a waiting a while for the Gen 3 coupe to be released, then a couple things delayed us a couple weeks, finally made the order today, Gen 3 coupe, IRS, stainless headers, leather seats, A/C and a few other things. The plan is a 2015-17 Coyote 5.0 with a T56 Magnum transmission. I actually bought the first pieces on Monday, complete 2015 used rear suspension with brakes. 3.73 with TORSEN LSD. Got is get my Roadster transmission back together and make some space. February will be here very soon.

Congrats on your order of the Gen 3 Coupe! HankL will have to stock up on his supply of "special" jackets for new coupe owners!

I saw the Gen 3 at SEMA and the Emerald Coast Cruise In. It's a beauty with such a great chassis!

    Enjoy,
    Garry

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

So I brought this full 3.73 rear end assembly on eBay Sat Dec 10 for the pieces I need. I got a call on Monday Dec 12 saying the rear I bought got sold and shipped but they had another one with the 3.73 gears, which comes with a Torsen diff instead of the standard trac-lok LSD. They sent a pic of the other rear that they wanted to substitute and it looked good so I said to ship it. I got here yesterday, looks darn near new, I don't think the donor got wet before it died. Rear end yesterday, engine and trans in January and the kit in Feb.... good start

Well the good news is the kit is on the way, I don't have an exact day yet as they had to go to Miami FL and Washington state before coming here, however I should have an exact delivery day in the next few days. I was one of the coupes delayed by about 3 weeks due to a supplier issue. We did hang out with the FFR crew at Barrett Jackson and worked on the 33 steel body. I used the delay to make a bit more space in the garage so I built a 8 x 10 shed.
