    Interior work

Haven't posted any progress in a while, mostly because there hasn't been any.
Did start on the interior insulation until the weather took over.
First made some cover plates for the roll bar tie ins in the trunk area. They are one piece. Caulked them then riveted to keep them in place

Then put insulation/sound deadening in the trunk.
This stuff is really easy to work with. It's not double sided bubble wrap but actual insulation between the two layers of aluminum foil.

Then switched to the passenger side compartment
    Seams will be taped

Also started on the trunk side panels. Same insulation and vinyl covered.
Will glue these in place when I remove the body.

Also covered the shock tower covers

Unfortunately I've run out of vinyl, which I bought when living in CA. Trying to find matching stuff is proving to be difficult.

    John.

joann.com is a large supplier of vinyl and fabric. They may have something that matches what you have.

Excellent. I would never undertake interior. I would screw it up for sure.
