    18" GTM wheels tire question?

I am in the process of buying a Gen II GTM kit that has the FFR 18" wheel package. The fronts are 18x9 and the rear are supposed to be 18x12. I was thinking 255/35-18 for the front and 315/30-18 for the rear. Any suggestions? If so what sizes did you go with and what make tires. I want to keep the same tread pattern front and rear and do not want to buy track tires. This will be a street car when done. Any help from anyone who has gone down this road is appreciated. Thanks, TW

Went with 245/40 up front and 335/30 rears, all on the FFR 18" wheels. I went with Michelin Pilot Sports all around (now Pilot Super Sports). 4000 road miles and working well.

    I have

    F: 18 x 9, 275/35 ZR18
    R: 18 x 12, 335/30 ZR18

TOYO PROXES R888's with FF wheels

The 275s takes up all available room in the front fenders. Required a little trimming of the inner fender lip (<1/8") and the thick seam where the hood comes down on the body to stop a rub. The car is also low at 3" of ground clearance and has softer springs with a Ft sway bar. No issues with the larger tires even with the R888 being more round on the sidewall than the Michelin tires I took off. The car has much more forward and lateral grip than before.
