Looks like Shelli enjoyed those full throttle blasts. Great job!

Very, very nice! She sounds great -- the car and Shelli!

How rewarding to take Shelli out, and see how much she enjoyed it; congratulations!

Looks and sounds great. My wife enjoys cruising with me as well. Great times together. Also recognize that look when I hit the throttle.

A few years ago, I got lost in Santa Clarita while looking for my customer's office. If I'm not mistaken, you've got some great roads outside of town to really open up the roadster! Of course, it was less fun in a rental car and running late... Loved the video!

Looks and sounds like you're well on your way to years of fantastic adventures . . .

Hope to meet you in person at Huntington Beach next April.
FWIW, you don't look as old as me - Ha-Ha-Ha!

Thanks for the kind words. I am really glad she enjoyed the ride. She said everything was perfect and she is all in for longer rides but she did mention she would like better hearing protection. She can't wear ear plugs and the cute furry muffs don't accomplish much. I'm thinking of buying her a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones. Any other suggestions appreciated. Really looking forward to bringing the roadster to Huntington Beach. Keep an eye out for me. I'll be the guy too afraid to leave my roadster unattended.

You could look at shooting hearing muffs like here.

Here they can be found in Dicks, Gander Mtn, Walmart etc but not sure about Cali.

CDXXVII: I purchased a set of the Bose noise cancelling earbuds and they work very well! I have the wireless ones and the bluetooth connection allows freedom of movement you can't get with the wired set. The control buttons on the earbud work with my Android phone (which was an issue with earlier versions of the earbuds).

It was nice to see that she smiled every time you gave it some throttle. My wife has a Bluetooth headset so she can listen to music from her phone. I hope they still work, she got them for Christmas 2014.

And the car sounds great, Glen

I am with the others who have suggested bluetooth enabled noise cancelling headsets. I suspect she might enjoy listening to music, or the ability to use the phone during your drives, and the noise cancelling feature should allow both of these pretty well. I am looking into the same type solution for when I get mine on the road. I strongly suspect it will be a prerequisite for my bride!

Just purchased a set of Bose QC15. Not Bluetooth but she does not mind a cord. I figure it's not a bad experiment for the price.

I will report back next time I take her out with the headset.
