    MK1 FFR #2035 Build

Never been one to document almost anything, but I will consider this a major event in my life since I crossed the half century mark a few years back. I reached out here on the Forum for guidance and pretty much went against all advise, including the folks at FFR and still bought my Roadster. I have built motorcycles from scratch, drag cars on a budget and now this Baby. I admire everyone here from the novice to the experts. The skill and level of devotion is inspiring. I'm sure with help and advise I will get my girl to graduation day, even if it's 16 years later!15665857_10210077964298971_7448697732352473734_n.jpg15672834_10210084032730678_535497866952299905_n.jpg

I imagine there are more than a few of these FFRs in perpetual limbo. Glad you came to the rescue for this one.
    Keep us updated and enjoy.

I see that you have what is often called a "tweener" (as in between the original design and the Mk2) which incorporated some, but not all of the updates---notably the crash bars in the footboxes but still with the original straight trunk bar and no tunnel backbone. Always interesting to see some of the earlier "vintage" FFRs! It's looking great
