    Door Hinge

Has anyone done a modification to the door hinges? To be more specific, the lower arm on the MK4 door hinges extends into the cabin when the door is closed. My lower left leg rests against it, and to get directly to the point, I don't like it, it's uncomfortable and basically bugs the crap out of me! Any ideas from those who have modified it or a replacement for it would greatly enhance my comfort.

Maybe just pad it with something. If you change the arc, the door will not operate properly

The only other option I can think of is to move back or Angle the drivers seat. Also using the Breeze angled adjustable seat mount might also be an option if your not already using it.

Various cobras I have seen have a slight mod to the hinge. It looks as if they put a piece of sheet metal on the inner edges of the hinge blades making a larger curved flat surface. Then they put a pad on that.
