    major changes to #2347

I think Hoofa would be proud(if you were on the old forum a long time ago, that would make sense)
These changes were done in 2014
full drop butt mod, that looks like crap

someone hold my beer, I can fix that, re-arching the fender profile

looks like the car needs to be widen, we can do that

1.5" should be enough, on each side

gone this far might as well fix the front arch too

    that s looking better

you think I can hide that with duct tape

maybe some duct tape here also

    does my butt look wide?

the parts that were cut from the body, big pieces rear, small pieces front

got the body off and the engine out, might as well add the backbone and the door bars

dont you just love these new batteries, you can put them almost anywhere

got the body off, might as well put in a new bullit- all forged

might as well cut the hood, i cut just about everything else

its amazing what you can do with duct tape, Ok maybe its paint, it's also good to know a great painter

you would think that after all that I would be thru cutting on my little cobra, and I was, BUT then I lost a clutch and I had no desire to pull that motor out and with my new back bone in the car the trans was trapped
below is my new and improved cross member and trans mount. someone- someday will thank me for that, when they work on this car.

    Man, some nice work there.

    A Hoofa reference! That's been a while.

Very nicely done. I especially like the rear fenders. I thought I liked the MkIV rears until I saw a 90 degree side shot and realized they look like the axle is 2 inches too far rearward. Yours are much better.

Excellent work, I too like that rear end. We used to see more of these kinds of modifications, in the past, and some of it was from you with your hardtop.

    Again great work, George

Wow! You have some major Cojones to cut into a finished roadster like that, but the end result is great looking!
Yes, I think Hoofa would be proud! (and you finished your project!)
