Fitting the hard top?
I am ready to fit the hard top. Mine is fairly close but does need to be trimmed. There is a mold line at front edge and all around the rear. I am not sure where to begin. Should I align the whole top onto the body and then start at rear or front with the trusty sander? If I fit the rear first, will it shift much when I do the front and vice versa? I guess I can turn it upside down on a pair of sawhorses to do the trimming. Do I do all the fitting work on the top or am I looking to modify the body as well?
As you can tell, I am a wee bit apprehensive about this task as I dont want to screw it up. If you have any suggestions on a good approach, please chime in.
Thanks for the feedback....
