    Body Undercoat

Getting ready to coat the underside of the body. Have a deal setup with a bed liner place.
How many coat the elephant ears at the same time as the body?
This would make it all uniform looking getting it done the same color. Might be just harder to fit them later.

I undercoat them as well, for appearance and also to reduce the sound of things hitting off them while driving. The raw aluminum pings even with the smallest hit. But I don't do them at the same time s the body. They typically require some "massaging" to get the best fit. Plus, depending on the undercoat material, you may not want undercoat along the edges where the bulb seal gets pushed on.

During the paint process my painter turned the body over and applied the bedliner, I brought him the elephant ears, which were fit to the body before I removed it for paint, and he did them as well. It all came out perfect.
