    3.5 Ecoboost in a roadster

I've searched the forums and there are a few mentions of doing this but no real answers I found. Seems like 99% of the ecoboost related threads are for the 818 model. Will the V-6 ecoboost engine fit in the Mark IV roadster chassis?

it will fit. Dont think it has been done yet. The 818 got the 2.3 ecoboost 4cyl. I assume you mean the 3.5 V6. go for it. It is an expensive motor however.

Thanks for the reply. My cousin has a source, the prices are coming down as they become more available. I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet other than the 33 Hot Rod kit that Ford did a couple years ago.

Depending what you think is expensive, I guess.

Yep, something like that. I probably won't get started on my kit until next year at the earliest. I have a few other projects to finish first to make room in the shop. By then the price will probably be under $2k. There will be another 700,000 on the road by then.

That's not bad and there are some listed for $2000 or less. In another year there will be another half million of them on the road. Prices will drop.
