    Murphy's Garage Laws (and others)

Since Mr. Murphy seems to stick his nose into everything else, and he's visited me more than once or twice. I found this: Murphy's Garage Law......

Regardless of the number of bins, organizers, coffee cans etc. full of nuts/bolts/screws available, you won’t have the required item, or enough of them to complete the task.

    Anyone have any others?

Speed X Force does not equal distance when you drop a wrench or part on the floor.

Regardless of your organizational ability, when needing a Phillips screw driver you will only find slot type or vise versa!

A dropped fastener will always travel just far enough to stop under any object that makes it difficult to find or reach.

The second part of this is:

When you drop a tool or fastener in the engine bay, the chance of it actually reaching the ground is dependent on the time of day, your fatigue level and the phase of the moon.

If you treat your car like a race car, then it will develop expensive race car problems.

The fastest way to make 1-million dollars in racing, is to start with 5-million dollars.

No matter how many sets of tools you have, they all will be missing the tool you need now.

Most garage build projects require an Ace Hardware store nearby.

You drop a screw, see it, can't reach it, get magnet, find out is stainless, DARN.
