Huntington Beach 2017 from the SF bay area.

April 29th 2017 Factory five Huntington Beach Cruise-In
If anyone from the bay area is going chime in.
What are you guys from northern & central CA planning?

This plan is not written in stone yet but here it is. If you got any other ideas put them up here.

1st cenerio::Leaving thursday from san jose area drive down 1/2 maybe down hwy 1 for nice pleasant drive and stop in San Luis obispo to spend the night or somewhere near there.

2nd senerio::Or head from san jose over to hwy 99 and head down 99 instead of hwy5 to bakerfield area and stay there. Then in the morning take hwy 58 to hwy 14 or 15 the bck way into la area.

3rd from san jose hwy 101 to hwy198 to hwy 33 to bakersfield. Then the backway into LA area as senerio #2.

Hey man, I am definitely interested in going down for the event. Not sure what the exact plans are but I will be there one way or another. I may do what I did last time, fly down and if you guys have a spare seat drive back with you guys. I was thinking of taking my still unfinished car, but didn't make a whole lot of progress in 2017 so far so it seems a bit pointless to go through all that given where I am.

Damage on Highway 1 to bridges near Big Sur, be sure to check road conditions. maybe 101 most of the way would work still much more scenic than 5 and some great food in San Luis area. Spent my first 55 years in the Bay Area.

Freddie, I'm out completely this year unfortunately. My daughters have an event through their school at the Tech Museum that weekend and I can't miss it. I'm heading to Morteza's place tomorrow to help drop in his engine/transmission for the first time tomorrow...
