    Power door locks

I installed the donor power locks actuators to the door latches and a controller from Amazon (Docooler Car Remote Central Lock”, $16.99). There are two key fob remotes. I mounted the lock control module under the hood on the left side with its 12" antenna hidden. It works from at least 50 feet away, maybe further.

    Wiring:
    • Orange – ground
    • White – to “close” (white, top post on actuator)
    • Yellow – 12 volt power (“battery” fuse block)
    • Orange/black – ground
    • White/black – to “open” (blue, bottom post on actuator)
    • Yellow/black - 12 volt power (“battery” fuse block)
    • Black – ground
    • Red - 12 volt power (“battery” fuse block)
    • Brown – for parking lights, not used

    • Green – for trunk release, not used

I have no key lock in either outside door handle so I added a manual unlock in case of a dead battery. I ran a narrow cable from the driver's door lock forward through the front of the door into the wheel well so I can pull it to unlock the door. It's a secret unlock so don't tell anyone!

Tnx Pete, I think I still got the actuators, although I'd prefer the door lock to be manual only. Worst case those OEM actuators with pigtail harness are about 30-50 bucks each.

Wire to the wheel well? Sounds like a familiar idea!! I like it!
