    Electronic E-brake

Has anyone else considered or currently running an electronic E-brake setup? Been looking at incorporating one or considering a line lock for the front brakes to use to hold the car.

This is the one I've been considering: http://www.speedwaymotors.com/E-Stop...Kit,65217.html

You could do it much cheaper, I bought a linear actuator but ended up doing it the old fashioned way...

Interesting. I'm interested in tidying up the interior with as few items on the center seat console as possible, as in just the shifter and window controls. After getting used to the push-button E-brake in my wife's Outback, I figured one would be something to look into when I build my C.

I think something I should have done before yanking the rear hubs out was measure the length of pull on the cables to figure out what length of actuator to get.

I just finished mine. I used a 2" actuator. Purchased from the same link shared by RM1SepEx. If you need to shortened the stroke you can by removing the cover and exposing the end switches. I drilled and tapped the end of the actuator to allow a 1/4" threaded rod for easy cable adjustment.

Nice! I'm going to figure out the routing when the time comes, same with my SW20 shifter that I should have next week. The shifter will be getting disassembled, blasted and coated...unless my buddy hooked me up like he said he was.
