    Axle prepping questions

I have an 87 gt posi axle with 3.73 gears.Want to prep it before my kit comes so I'm ready and I would like to remove any unneeded brackets/mounts, but want to be sure not to remove the wrong items.
Fyi, I am using a 3 link system by ffr

1)is it okay to remove the square silver brackets (are these original or put on by someone for something aftermarket?)
2)it's okay to remove the far outside brackets, right?
3)Its also okay to knock out the bushings on the middle pumpkin to, right?

I added pics and pointed to the items. Thanks for the help.

Well, I can't seem to upload any pics I tried multiple times and it keeps saying up loads failed. A little frustrating cause I don't know why. Tried with saved pics and tried by taking a photo with the camera at that time.

    Your photos aren't showing.

Here are some before & after shots of one for you to compare. I remove the quad shock brackets and obviously do away with the big harmonic weight under the pinion.

You'll see that I swap the calipers to the front---it makes for smoother and easier routing of the parking brake cables by allowing them to make a "U" rather than an "S". I take the bushings out ofthe pumpkin "ears" and run the cables through there using tapered rubber stoppers with a hole drilled in the center and siliconed in place to keep them from flopping around:

    Cheers,
    Jeff

Jeff, that is most helpful. Thank you.
I also checked out your build site for Steve and got some more helpful tips too. Thanks again!
