Has anyone installed the Breeze 70753 Dead Pedal Kit to the new expanded outer pedal box panel from FFR? If so, was it rather straight forward?

Use rivnuts in the aluminum, then you can take it in and out. I installed mine initially with the bolts as breeze recommends. It was sort of in the way but I had to live with it until I took the body off for paint. I swapped to the expanded outer footbox, just installed it yesterday. I'll try to bolt the dead pedal in and get a picture for you.
This post on the other forum shows the dead pedal in question since Mark doesn't have a picture on his website: http://www.ffcars.com/forums/17-fact...it-breeze.html.
I've used the Russ Thompson version on two builds, and like it very much. Same idea basically. The style kind of matches the Forte AC pedals I use. I don't have the expanded footbox (released just after I picked up my kit) but I would make this recommendation. Get your seat and pedals situated, and then simulate the position of the dead pedal to get the best comfort and location. I used double back tape and keep moving it until I like it. Usually it ends up about the same angle as the clutch pedal and slightly lower. Simulating in this way should help determine how it works with the newer sheet metal. Using nutserts isn't a bad idea, although I've never regretted using a dead pedal or had any thought to remove it. I find it more comfortable all the time, and especially on longer cruises.

I would definitely make it removable. If you are doing autoX it can be nice to have a place to plant your left foot. But during normal driving it blocks your ability to stretch your left leg out, which I definitely found to be a problem.
Good luck
