    MK IV into 289 Fia

    Guys,

    I recently sold my beloved 427, because i want a 289
Due to our regulations, i do not have the chance to build a 289 myself and get it registered. Also used 289 are very rare.
So i'm wondering how much effort it would take to convert an already registered MK lV into a 289 Fia.
Beside Body, what must be changed?
    Regards,
    Ronald

Old guy has done it. I believe it requires some suspension mods for the narrower track in the front, as well as a 54.25 width rear axle. I assume you have a solid axle, if you have IRS you will need pin drive width. Also aluminum in the trunk is different as well as the front radiator aluminum and gas filler.

This is what I have heard, I don't have specific experience. It can be done. Be sure to verify with FFR.

    Good luck!
