    coyote and Geterag in Mk4

Hey, I am taking delivery soon on a kit and considering using a take-out coyote and Getrag M82 in a Mark 4. In searching and reading a ton of posts I have been unable to find any information on the possibility of doing so. Lots of folks using the Coyote for sure but no information on the trans. It looks like the shifter location would be a concern , but wondering what I am missing otherwise. I did see Eric Treves is putting one in a 65 coupe- wondering how it could work out in a Mk4. Any information you may have would be helpful- Thanks a ton. Wes

I can't help you with the MK IV but I installed a Coyote/MT-82 in my 33 Hot Rod, had to modify the transmission mount, the shifter mount & shorten the shift mechanism & have custom drive shaft made.
