Friday Night Pre-HB BBQ and Cruise 2017!

EDIT: Looking good for this weekend!!:
    <iframe width="476" height="267" src="http://abc7.com/video/embed/?pid=1910846" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

    Hey! Where's everybody going?!

The PRE HB CRUISE AND BBQ!!! Lesa and I cordially invite you to hang out, cruise PCH and BBQ at our place Friday, April 28th as we start off the 10th annual 2017 Huntington Beach Cruise-In weekend!

The doors will be open all day for folks coming in from out of town. Park your trailer on our safe street and don't worry about it for the weekend! Please indicate need in reply, space is limited to 4, possibly 5 trailers. Please be sure to mention status (maybe, definitely) when you indicate you need trailer parking.

If you want to bring food or refreshments, send me a PM! Many FFR buddies ask me "What can we bring?" And you guys know me, I usually answer "Hey buddy, whatever you want is fine!" Well, in consultation with management I'm asking those folks to PM me for more info.

The cruise starts at 3pm SHARP! We will cruise to Hilborne this year! If you don't arrive in time for the cruise, no worries! Just hang at my place until we get back.

The grill is always open, but we kick it up a notch after the cruise, usually around 6pm:

If you want to come, please reply to this thread with your Full Name and number of people you plan to bring and I'll add you to the list of expected arrivals.

We are located down the road a few miles from HB in beautiful Corona del Mar.

All are welcome! Hope to see you here!

Peter Hildt - (1) 10-years/ 2 builds/1st time to HB show. Driving my 818C from Scottsdale so I don't need no stinkin' trailer!

Edit: David, I'll likely arrive after the cruise leaves but look forward to meeting you, Lesa, and others.
My comment above is cocky for a car with only 900 miles on the odometer! I respect trailers and hopefully will appease the breakdown goblins by packing tools, a tow strap and a rabbit's foot.

    Hi David,
This is Randy Caudill and I'll be bringing my '33 hot rod in a trailer. If possible I'd like to park the trailer on your street. I'll be bringing my mom, wife, and 2 girls for a grand total of 5 for the BBQ.

    Hi Lesa and David,

I plan to join the group at 3PM with my Yellow One for the cruise to Hilborne and learn all about fuel injection. Victoria will pass as she is no longer interested in fuel injection after my operation (just kidding, I think).
So please add us to your list of bbq attendees. We promise not to go skinny dipping.

I won't be able to attend this year (family wedding same weekend) but I sure enjoyed it last year. Thanks, again, for your hospitality in holding this BBQ every year!

For those interested in the Hilborn Tour on Friday, I will be picking up the group at Dave's house at 3pm Sharp! The Hilborn tour starts at 4pm. Tour will be about an hour and we'll head back to Daves at 5pm.

Here's the route on the way down. With Friday traffic we'll work on taking the shortest route.

As for the way back, well...weather permitting this should give us a nice cruise back down the coast against traffic and we'll also stop off at Top of the World if we have time.

Hi, David! You might not be aware that I bought back #6240, so I will be bringing it to the HB show for the first time in finished form. I just cleared my Friday schedule, so I'd like to join your BBQ as well. Wife will be out of town, so it's just me...

    Dave,

I'll be there this year (missed the last one, dang, we were on a cruise). My wife is coming this year, and I believe that she will come to the BBQ as well (she is rehearsing lines for her next performance, a one woman play, and wants some time alone).

Thanks for the generosity and the invite.

    Regards, Rick.
