I need advise or real experience with clutches and a T5 in a FFR Cobra. My engine builder suggests the "mustang" clutch wont be good for the car because of weight...Opinions? thanks

I could be wrong here. But if you plan on a 427, I don't know if a t5 would be the best choice of transmission because of its lack of strength. I'm sure others will chime in here.
Hopefully you are not intending to put a stock T5 behind a 427 SBF. A Levy, Astro or G Force T5 would be required or a higher torque capacity box. A clutch which will hold 500 ftlb would be required at a minimum. There are many choices out there for that power level and there are quite a few on this forum that have had success with various manufacturers. I'll throw my hat in the ring and recommend that you consider a SPEC stage 2. My engine puts about 500 ftlbs to the flywheel and has been very happy in front of a SPEC Stage 2 for more than 10 years of street, strip and Auto X. It is not the smoothest clutch in stop and go traffic but even with an aluminum flywheel and lightweight pressure plate is easy to drive.
