    Breeze roll bar

Does anyone have any photos inside the trunk, showing the installed Breeze roll bar? I am trying to figure out how the tubes are fixed to the back brace and to chassis mount.
    I have lost the instructions!

If you e-mail Mark, he's sure to e-mail you a pdf of the instructions. Probably within an hour if you do so during East Coast business hours.

Took a while to get the pictures...

Breeze roll bar: Once I got the hoop height and third leg angle/position tacked and dialed in, I had the two short stubs welded to the main hoop. (See my posts #3 and #6 in the other Breeze Roll Bar thread http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showt...reeze-roll-bar ) For the third leg, The instructions weren't real specific, and I couldn't really see how to thru-bolt the upper part of the 3rd leg/stub without it showing through above the body line, so....

I made up a couple of coupling nuts, welded them together, then welded them inside the long stub for the 3rd leg. (go easy on the heat in the welding, you don't want to warp the roundness of the stub.) I drilled the two holes first, both in the stub and the 3rd leg for 3/8-16 bolts, then aligned my coupling nut assembly inside the stub and welded it in. The stub for the 3rd leg slides all the way up into the 3rd leg for mounting through the body holes, then slides down onto the mounting stub on the frame. All three stubs will now be through bolted just like the original FFR MK4 roll bar is. I will do that once the body comes off next.

Factory Five Mk3 roll bar. They are 2 inch diameter. Similar to earlier versions as well.

Factory Five Mk4 roll bar(s). They changed to 1-1/2 inch diameter.

Breeze roll bar. They're 1-3/4 inch diameter, not as tall, with a more authentic rake. Personally I really like the look. Just be aware though that "legally" they are probably a little low. Likely they wouldn't pass the broomstick test.
