Oil Pressure sending unit

Doing a donor build with a 1994 5 liter. Does the ECM need a oil pressure signal or is the factory sending unit next to the filter for gauge only? If for gauge only i will use the sending unit with the FFR gauges and use exixting wiring harness wire. If it needs to send signal to ECM i will have to place a tee in port for both factory sending unit and FFR gauge sending unit unless there is somewhere else i can obtain a port for oil pressure. Any help would be appreciated as I intent to stab the motor in this weekend. Thanks in advance - Jim

EEC-IV (used thru 1995) does not look at oil pressure.
