Has the radiator been revised? Please help.

Has the roadster radiator changed recently?
    Maybe the outlet ports?

I thought I read it some where a month ago but can't find it now.

If it has changed, what is it and why?

    Thanks

They did change it somewhat recently but not sure exactly win. My kit 8900 delivered last June has the newer one. Yes the inlet and outlet ports are different. They now come off at an angle. The assembly manual I had still shows the old one in the pictures.

My chassis number is #8,515 and I've got the older radiator version.
Also, my kit was delivered in February of 2015 if that helps give you an idea as to when the part changed.
The upper comes off at about a 45-degree angle, while the lower comes straight out at 90 degrees.
They also use different radiator shrouds (See Breeze Automotive) if you decide to add one.

You should definitely install a radiator shroud. Universally recommended by the experts.

    Good to know,

I actually bought an older radiator, never used, from another member, a few years ago. I just wanted to make sure there will be no issues with using it on my kit that hasn't arrived yet. I spoke to Tony at FFR and he said no problem to use at all.

Also, when I bought the radiator, I also got the aluminum shroud and fan made by breeze, from the same owner. So I should be good to go with that then!

    Thanks guys for the help!
