Thanks to good info pac from AZPete, I called Vintage Air today to check on availability of 01000-VUZ-A mini spacesaver a/c that fits 818 nicely. It is not in current catalog as well as
the control pod. Salesman said it sorta gone whatever that means. You can aparantly order but the new Gen II mini is about 1/2 in bigger in most dimensions and offers electronic
control of dampers rather than vacuum and thus you get proportional control of air flow. New model is 660005-VUZ-A.

Keep this in mind if you are thinking of adding a/c to your 818.
