    Steering Quickener?

My shop is recommending a Coleman 1.5 to 1 quickener after driving my go cart and lamenting the slow steering and difficulty that they anticipate recovering from an incipient spin. Anyone else installed one or have any experience with one on this chassis? Mine will be street/autocross. TIA

I've watched in video how much steering input is required by our 818 compared other cars. The 818 is less than most other cars.
Watch the hand movement in this video.

There are some DIYs on NASIOC to install a quickener in the Subaru steering column. I thought about doing this and decided against it because with the available quickener ratios I thought my '06 rack would be too fast. I wouldn't consider the steering slow and I've recovered from intentional and unintentional oversteer just fine.
