    First Drive in 2017

Took her out for the season yesterday. Risked avoiding all puddles from patches of melting snow as roads were mainly dry everywhere now. Got three thumbs up along the way and all worked well which is good news. Almost ready for grad pics but still have a few things to button-up before. Here's hoping to a long driving season up this way.

Kyle, That is a big one. Where is the GoPro video? I'm waiting for insurance to get it state inspected and we are off too. Congrats on a great accomplishment.

    KdubU,

Congratulations & Enjoy The Better Weather!
I don't know how you all deal with the very cold weather up there.
On another note, what is the best time of year to visit the upper East Coast, specifically Maine, in an open top car?

Glen, sorry no vid as I don't yet have a GP. I have thought about getting one but always hesitate.

Steve, that does depend. For a wimpy Southerner such as yourself , August is when the hottest days are and the water temps get into decent swimming temps of around 65-70. I personally like September as there are less tourists as where I am at, it is usually bumper to bumper July and August.

September is great time to vacation elsewhere since it is the peak of our Wimpy Hurricane Season.
I'll be checking the C.C. Reciprocal Laws between our states to see if the trip is possible.
Thanks for your suggestion about September.

Good News Because Maine Is A C.C. Reciprocal State!
I just have to sneak across one state before we are back in friendly territory.
