    Track Car

After years of enjoying my FFRs on cruises and long trips I am looking for a dedicated track car. Nothing too serious (no open wheel cars) but something that I would not street at all. I am planning of doing DEs and track days mainly...possibly some vintage racing so looking for something with a little "heritage" I don't want to turn either my FFR roadster or Coupe into a track cars as I would prefer not to beat them up

I am thinking along the lines of a track only Datsun 240Z or older Porsche 911 but looking for suggestions from people that have experience in this realm.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

Vintage Mustang - '65/'66 for purest version - '67/'68 coupe for that TransAm vibe, or '69/'70 if you want to have the best of both worlds.

Another option is something more modern, like a former Bondurant school car - those make great track-day rides and are available cheap.
