Quick Fuel Carb / Air cleaner clearance issue

The air cleaner that came with my engine has a 5 1/8 hole where it fits onto the carb. My original carb was and Edelbrock, now I have a QUick Fuel. Both have 5 1/8 hole, and mine had a 1" spacer so that this air cleaner would not rest on top of the distributor.

The difference is that a the Quick Fuel choke linkage above the area where the air cleaner fits hits the 1" spacer and is actually wider than the 5 1/8 area fitted for an air cleaner. DO I need a specific Quick fuel spacer or air cleaner.?

Your SS650AN is basically a Holley 4150 clone so any spacer that fits a Holley will work. Summit Racing has a selection to chose from.

Not trying to spend your money but if you have the clearance for a 1" spacer you may want to consider adding one of these (or similar) under the carb. https://www.summitracing.com/int/par...4110/overview/. Scott
