    Coil wiring

This is embarrassing because I did this six years ago and can't remember how I did it. This is on a carbed and standard coil 302. How do I wire the coil? There are two wires coming from the distributor to it, but what else? I know the purple wire from the RF harness goes to the coil to provide the the info for the tach, but what wire do I use to power the coil? Sorry for the simple question. I tried searching but sometimes it becomes info overload. Right now there is black/red wires from the distributor. There is a thick orange one that is in a bundle labeled "EFI/Coil crank". This wire is labeled EFI or Coil. I wasn't sure if this is the power source for the coil or if this bundle was only intended for EFI engines.

The thick orange wire labeled "EFI/Coil" does in fact supply power to your coil.

    Cheers,
