I finally took the time to create some travels stops to limit the downward travel of the windows inside the doors. As most of you know, there is not enough room inside the doors for the windows to go all the way down into the doors without heavy modifications. Allowing the windows to go down farther than they should can (will) result in damage to the doors or windows. I have had 2 GTM's come into the shop where the window regulator actually separated the outer door skin from the door and we had to bond the door back together because the rear window clamp rubs against the outer door skin at the bottom of the window travel. On the driver's door, the bottom of the window itself usually ends up crashing right into the electrical connector on top of the window motor.
These parts clamp onto the rear window regulator track to limit the downward travel of the window and can be placed anywhere on the track, making them fully adjustable to be placed exactly where they are needed to stop the window where the interference starts.
